"Only 36% of my recipients opened my latest e-newsletter!"
If that's you, you're actually doing better than average! Financial Services emails average a 20.87% open rate, while non-profits average 27.66%. I found this great chart showing the average open rates by industry for MailChimp customers. MailChimp is an email marketing service - I don't necessarily endorse them but love that they took the time to create this chart and share it with the world.
