Another Year Bites the Dust

Well, here it is... My first ever blog entry on December 31, 2009. Why now? I've spent the year implementing my social media plan, creating and maximizing Bending Design's Facebook and Twitter accounts, as well as my personal LinkedIn account. The next thing on the list was a redesign of bendingdesign.com (which is coming soon!) and this blog.
I'll be sharing interesting marketing and design related tidbits, thoughts, inspiration, quotes, books, and anything else I think you might be interested in.
On that note, if you haven't read any of Seth Godin's books, I highly suggest you start now. The beauty of them is that they are quick, weekend reads and so incredibly inspirational. He'll get your creative juices flowing, whether you consider yourself a creative or not. Purple Cow is an excellent starting point, as is Tribes.
As I look forward to 2010, I see a year of massive opportunity, strong relationships, a ton more learning and reaching for the stars. As Seth Godin said: Why not be great?
